CCS provides supplies and vet care, you just need to provide a temporary home, love, and playtime! It’s only a bonus that fostering related expenses are tax deductible, ask your tax professional for advice!
Fostering dogs before they are adopted, not only allows a rescue to take in more dogs, it also helps the dog through the adjustment period before getting a fur-ever home! Fostering allows them socialization and an introduction to new environments which allows them a greater chance of adoption into a loving family.
The foster to adopt program is a two week program where the potential adopter will be able to foster a dog before deciding whether or not they'd like to adopt. It's a great way to see if the dog fits in with all members in the household and into your lifestyle.
